Kansas lands versatile Juco athlete Stephan Robinson

The one positive for having such a rough season on the field is that you have an opportunity several schools don't. You can offer high school recruits and JUCO transfers the opportunity to play right away, and chances are, it's not just lip service.

The Jayhawks nabbed JUCO athlete Stephan Robinson this week, and the speedster could be an integral part of Kansas football moving forward.

“The big thing was the way they treated my family and they loved it," Robinson said. "Me and my little brother are close and they treated him well. The visit was great. I loved it. I love the school and everything about it.”

Robinson also considered Virginia Tech, Iowa State, Tulsa and Southern Miss. He was clocked as running a 4.4 40-yard dash as a JUCO player.
