Kansas State vs West Virginia Live Stream: Watch Wildcats vs Mountaineers Online
Here’s how you can watch Saturday afternoon Kansas State vs. West Virginia game from SEC online.
In Week 1, the West Virginia Mountaineers were tested against a good Missouri team but defeated the Tigers 26-11. Two weeks later, they took on the BYU Cougars for their second test challenge. Again, they came away with the win to keep their record spotless at 3-0. It wasn’t the easiest of tests and it had some road bumps, but an interception at the end of the game sealed a 35-32 victory.
The Kansas State Wildcats are in a position where its do or die. They come into Saturday’s game losing just once and that was to Stanford in week one (26-13). They have now won two straight games. First, they took down Florida Atlantic 63-7 and then last week they were granted the victory at halftime when the game was called due to lightning storms against Missouri State (35-0).
K-State has shown some interesting promise and this battle against West Virginia will give many people an idea of how good they truly are. For West Virginia, this is about remaining undefeated and taking the bye, before mixing it up with Texas Tech on the 15th of October.
The Mountaineers thrive on their offense. They need too or their defense will succumb to the opposing team attack. BYU put them through the paces by gaining 521 total yards. They can now take a breather because Kansas State is on the other side of the coin. They are about defense with little offense.
West Virginia is going to use the skills of quarterback Skylar Howard (974 yards and six touchdowns) to connect with wide receiver Shelton Gipson (16-354-2). When the Mountaineers need to slow down the pace they will rely on their running back by committee in both Justin Crawford (42-227-1) and Rushel Shell (43-209-3).
For the Wildcats there isn’t much hope on the offensive side of the ball. They are led by quarterback Jesse Ertz (418 yards and four touchdowns) who may be a better runner than signal caller. He leads the team in rushing with 25 carries and 145 yards to go along with a touchdown.
The defense is what K-State relies on to win their games and they are good. Their “D” is giving up just a little more than ten points per game. Keep an eye on linemen Will Geary and Jordan Willis, linebackers Elijah Lee and Charmeachealle Moore and SS Dante Barnett. They are going to be the ones to give that Mountaineers offense trouble.
If you enjoy line battles this is the one you are going to want to see. The West Virginia offensive line taking on the defensive line of Kansas State. Old fashioned slobber knocker brawl.

The Mountaineers are favored by four points with an over/under of 54. I can’t see Kansas State winning this game at a high scoring affair due to their lack of offense, plus this is on the road for the Wildcats which is another negative. Look for West Virginia to win this 30-24.
