Kennesaw State seeks to keep building in 2018
(STATS) - Fresh off winning their first Big South title and reaching the FCS playoff quarterfinals, Kennesaw State looked ahead to the 2018 season by announcing an 11-game schedule on Wednesday.
Included are five home games at Fifth Third Bank Stadium and the Nov. 17 regular-season finale against Ohio Valley Conference power Jacksonville State in the first college football game at the Atlanta Braves' SunTrust Park.
Coach Brian Bohannon's Owls are playing both of the teams they just beat in their first playoff appearance, Jacksonville State and Samford, which they host Sept. 29. They had a 12-2 record in just their third season as a program.
Kennesaw's other home games will be against Alabama State (Sept. 15), Clark Atlanta (Sept. 22) and Big South opponents Presbyterian (Oct. 6) and Campbell (Nov. 3).
