Kevin Hogan named to Manning Award watch list

Stanford quarterback Kevin Hogan has been named to the Manning Award watch list. The Manning Award is presented annually to the nation's best passer.

Hogan, a senior, has been Stanford's starting QB for the past two-plus seasons. In 2014, Hogan threw for 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He struggled at times to lead Stanford's offense in 2014, but figures to have a bounce back season.

Last season, Oregon's Marcus Mariots won the Manning Award.
