Kevin Hogan will become third QB to start in three Rose Bowl games

When Stanford takes the field on Jan. 1 in the Rose Bowl, senior QB Kevin Hogan will accomplish something that only two other men have ever done.
Hogan has led Stanford to three Pac-12 championships in his four years at Stanford and will start his third Rose Bowl game against Iowa. Only Ohio State's Cornelius Greene (1974-1976) and Michigan's Rick Leach (1977-1979) have started in three Rose Bowl's.
Hogan is 1-1 in his career in the Rose Bowl. He led the Cardinal to a 20-14 win in 2013; however, a year later the team fell to Michigan State 24-20.
