Landon Collins' mom is unhappy with a second son's college decision

Updated Mar. 5, 2020 1:03 a.m. ET

The mother of Alabama safety Landon Collins became infamous two years ago when she voiced her displeasure with her son picking Alabama over home-state LSU during the Under Armour All-America Game:

On Thursday, history repeated itself.

Another son, Gerald Willis III, is a defensive end and Top 50 overall recruit from New Orleans. He announced his college decision during the Under Armour All-America game only to disappoint his mother again like Willis’ older brother by not picking the Bayou Bengals, instead opting for Florida.

When asked about the decision, April Justin was more subdued but equally disappointed as last time, saying, “It is what it is, Florida Gators — that’s where we’ll be ... LSU’s still No. 1.”

Hopefully for April, there’s a third football-playing son on the way who wants to take his talents to Baton Rouge.
