Good news: the College Football Guys are coming to Starkville.

Bad news: Kickoff vs. Auburn is set for 11:00 AM. Did I say that already?

I just found out about these guys a couple of weeks ago when they announced they were coming to Starkville. Apparently they are just regular guys with a dream of experiencing as many college football atmospheres as they can. As a family man myself with young children I can only imagine what it would be like to indulge in such road trips as I did in college, so I guess I’ll just follow them on Twitter and live vicariously through their videos.

Jake had them on his show this week (12 minute mark):

Be sure to interact with them on Twitter and show them a good time in Starkville.

Good news: Last Chance U reunion at DWS this weekend. In case you don’t know, Last Chance U is a six-episode documentary mini-series about the 2015 EMCC football team. Two of the stars, John Franklin III and Wyatt Roberts, are on the rosters at Auburn and Mississippi State respectively. Franklin III is the 2nd string QB for the Tigers and Roberts is a walk-on QB for the Bulldogs presumably running the scout team.

Brittney Wagner, the EMCC academic adviser and also a star on the show, plans to meet up with her former students this weekend, she told Auburn Undercover she’ll be wearing Franklin III’s EMCC jersey to the game….but she is still a State fan.

According to that story, Wyatt Roberts got engaged last weekend to his longtime girlfriend. Congrats to him.

Bad news: I still have two episodes left in the series, I just can seem to find time to watch it.
