(STATS) - Lehigh has returned to the original date of Sept. 15, 2018 for a trip to Navy that will be the Mountain Hawks' first FBS game since 2003.
The date had been moved up by the America Athletic Conference earlier this year, but Navy eventually requested the game be returned to its original date at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland.
It will be the first meeting between the programs since 1987 and the two-time reigning Patriot League champion Mountain Hawks' first FBS game since a 35-17 loss at Connecticut on Oct. 4, 2003.
Lehigh and Navy are Patriot League members in most other sports. The Midshipmen lead the all-time series 15-6, but Lehigh won the most recent meeting, 24-9 on Sept. 19, 1987.
