Louisville Football: DeVante Parker set to face the Bengals on Thursday night
Former Louisville football player DeVante Parker is set to face the Cincinnati Bengals on the NFL’s Thursday Night Football.
As if you couldn’t get enough Louisville football this week, you have one more reason to be excited. Ex-Louisville football star DeVante Parker is set to face the Cincinnati Bengals tonight on Thursday Night Football. It will be Parker’s third start of the young 2016 season.
Parker will be going up against the 13th ranked pass defense in the NFL, therefore it should be a good battle between the Dolphins’ wide receivers and the Bengals’ secondary. The Louisville-area product is quickly becoming one of the league’s best deep-threats and will be looking to lead Miami to an even 2-2 record later tonight.
Here is the information about the game later this evening:
Who: (1-2) Miami Dolphins at (1-2) Cincinnati Bengals
When: Thursday night, 8:25pm
How to Watch: NFL Network
Marc Sessler from the NFL’s official website had this to say about the Dolphins’ offense in his, “What to watch for” article about the game featuring Miami and Cincinnati.
“Miami has been an up-and-down operation on offense. The Dolphins fell into a 28-point hole against New England before catching fire through the air to lose 31-24 in a tilt that saw Miami’s Jarvis Landry,DeVante Parker and Kenny Stills pile up a combined 280 yards off 22 catches against the Patriots. The trio was at it again vs. Cleveland, overcoming Ryan Tannehill‘s two first-half interceptions to lash the Browns for a combined 247 yards and two scores off 15 grabs”
Look for the Dolphins to find ways to get to ball to Parker and Landry throughout the evening. This is a great way to catch up on one of your favorite former Louisville Cardinals in the NFL and get your football fix before the big game on Saturday night.
