Louisville Football: Preston Brown helps Bills to huge win in Los Angeles
Former Louisville football player Preston Brown helped the Bills to a huge win in Los Angeles against the Rams on Sunday afternoon.
The Buffalo Bills and former Louisville football player Preston Brown got a huge win this afternoon in Los Angeles. The Bills were able to knock off the Rams 30-19 in a great effort by Buffalo’s defense.
This was a huge win for the Bills, on the west coast, to get their team to the 3-2 mark on the season. Being in the AFC East, Buffalo needs every win that they can get if they want a shot at winning the division. If they play defense like this every week, then they will have a chance to make the playoffs this season.
Preston Brown has been the staple of the linebacking core for the Bills this year and has done a great job. According to ESPN, Brown was tied for first on the team in total tackles today with seven.
Not only did Brown play well, but the rest of the defense played great too. They forced former Georgia Bulldog running-back Todd Gurley to under 80 yards rushing and two fumbles. Even though they only recovered one of his fumbles, he was not a major factor throughout the football game.
The Bills will now fly back home to Buffalo to face the San Fransisco 49ers next Sunday in a very winnable game. Look for Brown to lead the Bills’ defense to another great outing next weekend.
