The Louisville football team is ready to take on the Clemson Tigers tonight at 8:00pm. Here are our final predictions for the game.
It feels like we have waited forever for this primetime match-up between the Louisville football team and the Clemson Tigers. Both quarterbacks will be looking to set their teams up for victory and jump over the other QB in the 2016 Heisman Trophy race. This is going to be one heck of a game.
So far this season, we are 4-0 at choosing if the Cardinals are going to win or not. To be fair, it hasn’t been very hard when Louisville has Lamar Jackson dropping back to pass every game. In case you need another reminder, these Cardinals are for real.

As you can see above, the Louisville Cardinals are going to be a little too much for a tough Clemson Tiger football team. As brought up by College Gameday this afternoon, this is going to be one of the best quarterback match-ups in a long, long time. However, it should be Louisville’s defense that makes the biggest difference in this game.
The Tigers have just lost too much defensive talent to the NFL from last year’s team. It doesn’t matter how well you recruit, the players they lost were premier players that helped Deshaun Watson get to the National Championship game. I’m not saying that Watson wasn’t a huge part of that team, but that defense was very, very good.
It’s going to be a close game, but the Louisville football team is better than Clemson in all three phases of the game right now. Expect the Cardinals to pull a 31-21 win and get their second top-five win of the season.
