Louisville linebacker Keith Brown will not return to the Cardinals for his senior season and has announced that he will transfer to another school in hopes of a better fit.

Via 247 Sports:

"I just had to find a better situation for myself," said Brown.

The 6-foot-1, 237-pound junior is a former high school all-American and made 33 tackles in 2015. Brown’s career showed promise in 2012 when he recorded 48 tackles as a true freshman before battling a knee injury in 2013. In 2014, Brown's production dipped as he registered only 17 stops.

In 2015, Brown recorded a season-high eight tackles during a 45-34 loss to Pitt, but he did not tally a tackle in the Cards’ 27-21 win over Texas A&M in the Music City Bowl.
