LSU churning out NFL talent at a high rate

The recruiting world has many bells and whistles designed to attract top talent to any school. This could include flashy uniforms, sparkling new facilities, an iconic football history, conference prestige, and a winning culture.

Sitting perhaps at the top of the list is the amount of players any university sends to the NFL. This is where Les Miles and the LSU Tigers have a big advantage.

41 former LSU players are currently on 53-man rosters in the NFL (as of Sept. 8). Two are on injured reserve, and four are on practice squads.

When looking at the list of players currently plying their trades professionally, a vast majority played under Miles at some point. This truly speaks to Miles' skills of developing the talent he brings into LSU.
