An LSU fan is so irate about the performance of the Tigers that he’s started a crowdfunding page in hopes of buying out Les Miles’ contract.

LSU fan Andy Denicola is so irate about the performance of the Tigers that he’s started a GoFundMe page to buy out Les Miles’ contract. Believe it or not, other fans are actually contributing.

He writes*:

I am Andy denicola and i have suffered through underperforming dissappointing season after dissappointing season under les miles. It’s time for a change.

Denicola continues his rant:

“Les Miles is a hard headed, stubborn, unimaginative, dip****. He has taken a remarkably talented team and been out coached, out schemed, under developed players and generally lead the them to mediocrity over and over again.”

Most people would agree that Les Miles is anything but unimaginative. After all, how many coaches would send a recruiting letter to players with a metaphor about a lion and a gazelle?  (Google it. It happened).

However, after LSU’s loss to Wisconsin this weekend, Denicola is convinced that Miles is not the man to lead the Tigers anymore. He also believes that the university will do nothing to change it. He is calling on fans to take matters into their own hands and buy out Les Miles’ contract.

Apparently our flagship university can’t afford to buy him out of his contract. So I figured if we raised the money then they wouldn’t have any excuse as to why we can’t fire him.

The Advocate writes that LSU athletics earned more revenue than all but one SEC school in the 2013-2014 school year. Even so, Denicola seems convinced that LSU cannot afford to buy out the remainder of their head coach’s contract.

(Side note: Wanna guess which university was number one in revenue? Yep – Alabama).

Denicola does appear to have a sense of reality at the end of his rant. He states that if LSU won’t accept the money raised to fire Les Miles, he’ll donate it to the Louisiana flood relief effort. No specific charities or organizations have been named.

“In the likely event that lsu will not accept the funds raised here, all monies will be donated to the Louisiana flood relief effort. Thank you for your support.”

Best of luck to you, Mr. Denicola, in your efforts. The Alabama Crimson Tide will see you in Baton Rouge in November.
