LSU offers son of South Carolina running backs coach
One of the top quarterback prospects in the Southeastern region of the country, Jake Bentley already had many offers to choose from.
On Monday, LSU offered the 2017 signal-caller -- giving Bentley yet another option to look at.

Interestingly enough, Bentley is the son of Bobby Bentley -- a former Auburn assistant coach, and now currently the running backs coach at South Carolina.
With Georgia, Miami, South Carolina, and Stanford in strong contention for the younger Bentley's services, LSU may have some ground to make up.
As a prospect, Bentley is a strong-armed, tall quarterback with better athleticism than he's given credit for. When attempting to make a comparison, he's somewhat similar to former Stanford quarterback Kevin Hogan.
With the familial link Bentley has to USC, conventional wisdom states that he likely is leaning towards playing under his father. However, there's still virtually a year until the quarterback will make his college choice official.
