LSU Tigers Jump In Latest AP Top 25
The LSU Tigers picked up a huge win over the Ole Miss Rebels last night by a final score of 38-21 behind Leonard Fournette’s dominate night and excellent play from their defense. Ole Miss is a team that gave significant problems to highly-ranked teams such as Alabama and Florida State, so winning by such a wide margin was something many expected to help the Tigers in the latest AP Poll.
Today the latest voting results were released by the Associated Press. The thought many had was proven to be correct, as the LSU Tigers jumped six spots from number 25 to 19th overall in college football.

Ed Orgeron has done a fantastic job of turning this team around since taking over as interim head coach. The team looked completely out of contention for any major postseason play, but Coach O and his staff have gotten this team back into the ranking and are already moving up. With several ranked opponents left on the Tigers schedule, the team will be presented with even more opportunities to move up in the coming weeks.
LSU will welcome the Alabama Crimson Tide to Baton Rouge next week in what will be the biggest game of the year for the Tigers. We have seen several highly-ranked teams attempt to knock off Nick Saban’s team, but none have come close. LSU will attempt to do what the others could not, but it will certainly be an uphill battle.
