Mark Helfrich on Utah: 'Their special teams are worth the price of admission'

Does Utah have the best special teams unit in the entire country? It's certainly possible, it seems, especially after last week's performance vs. Fresno State.

Cory Butler-Byrd returned a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown. Britain Covey returned a punt 77 yards for a touchdown as well. Their senior punter, Tom Hackett, won the Ray Guy Award for best punter in the nation last season. Andy Phillips, their placekicker, is consdiered all-Pac-12 first team.

It seems as if the Utah special teams unit doesn't have a single weakness.

"Their special teams are worth the price of admission," said Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich, according to ESPN's Kevin Gemmell
