Maryland's Likely earns All-America honors

After leading the Big Ten in punt return average and leading the nation in combined return yards, Maryland cornerback William Likely was chosen to the FWAA All-America first team. 

Likely, the Big Ten Return Specialist of the Year, averaged 17.7 yards per punt return, building on a huge first game of the season when he set a conference record for punt return yards with 233. 

The junior returned two punts and one kickoff for touchdowns this season. 

Likely was chosen as the FWAA's punt returner with Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey the kickoff returner.
