Michigan St. hero Watts-Jackson was in 'pure pain' when he scored

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Jalen Watts-Jackson says he felt "pure pain" after reaching the end zone last weekend when he injured his hip while scoring the winning touchdown for Michigan State on a desperate fumble return against Michigan.

Watts-Jackson had surgery Sunday. He met with reporters Wednesday for the first time since entering Michigan State lore with his last-second TD. He came to the news conference in a wheelchair.

Watts-Jackson says he'd go through it all again if he had to. His return after Michigan's punter fumbled a snap gave the Spartans a 27-23 win and kept their undefeated season going.
