Michigan State Football: Injury report vs. Indiana

Let’s take a look at the injury report for Michigan State football’s Week 5 contest against Indiana.

Michigan State football has had its fair share of injuries over the past couple of years, especially 2015. The Spartans were one of the most injury-riddled teams in the nation last season and that notion was highlighted by Connor Cook’s iffy shoulder.

Cook fought through the pain, for the most part, and led Michigan State to a Big Ten Championship win over Iowa and a College Football Playoff appearance.

There haven’t been as many injuries to Michigan State this season, but the magnitude of the two players who might miss Saturday night’s contest against Indiana is immense. The Spartans’ defense might take a major hit against the Hoosiers.

Here’s the injury report for Saturday night’s game:

Michigan State: LB Riley Bullough (right shoulder), questionable; LB Jon Reschke (left ankle), out

Indiana: WR Jonah Morris (undisclosed), questionable; OL Dan Feeney (concussion), questionable; OL Dimitric Camiel (back), questionable; K Aaron Del Grosso (personal matters), questionable; TE Jordan Fuchs (ankle), out; WR Simmie Cobbs (ankle), out; DB Wesley Green (suspension), out indefinitely; WR J-Shun Harris II (knee), out for season

As you can see, neither team is going to be at full-strength on Saturday, but it should still be an exciting contest. No Reschke and potentially no Bullough could spell trouble for Michigan State’s defense against the potent Hoosiers.

Indiana is missing its top receiver from last year (Cobbs) and might be down its top offensive lineman (Feeney) in this one. Who comes out on top?
