Michigan State football’s performance against the Maryland Terrapins was subpar, at best, so what went wrong?
It wasn’t the best performance for Michigan State football on Saturday night. Going into halftime with a 14-14 tie on their hands, the Spartans knew they’d have to come out and garner some momentum.

That just didn’t happen, though. Michigan State struggled after a fumble deep in Maryland territory and finished with just a field goal in the second half. Unfortunately, Brian Lewerke’s second career start didn’t go quite as planned.
