Michigan State Recruiting: 4-star ATH Xavier Henderson commits
Michigan State recruiting has landed a huge fish for the class of 2018 as four-star ATH Xavier Henderson has given his verbal.
Just one day after claiming Michigan State football was his favorite to this point, four-star 2018 athlete Xavier Henderson has committed. It’s a heck of a way to start off a recruiting class as Henderson is a Plan ‘A’ target in every sense of the phrase.

Henderson took his scholarship offer from the Spartans on Friday afternoon, making his commitment public, via Twitter.

The four-star athlete from Pickerington, Ohio, has been on top of the Spartans’ list for quite some time now and he has jump-started Michigan State’s 2018 class. If he can help the class grow, the 2018 group might end up being Mark Dantonio’s best — yes, even better than 2016.
Ranked No. 163 overall in the country as well as the 11th-best athlete in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports, Henderson is one of the top prospects the Spartans are after. However, he could have a domino effect for the class, picking up other commitments along the way.
Dantonio has to be elated with the news of a commitment from a top 2018 kid as well as the news that Ed Davis has been granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA.
Henderson is considered an athlete by recruiting sites, but he projects as somewhat of a defensive back. He stands 6-foot-0, 189 pounds and has the size and speed necessary to play corner or safety at the next level.
The ‘No Fly Zone’ continues.
