Michigan State Recruiting: 4-star RB Cordarrian Richardson to visit?
Michigan State recruiting could get a big visit from four-star running back Cordarrian Richardson who just de-committed from Clemson.
After Weston Bridges suffered an injury during his final season of high school ball, it was evident that Michigan State recruiting for 2017 was going to target another running back. Who would it be? Well, the staff targeted Jalen Holston and John Lovett already, but not it looks like Cordarrian Richardson is on the board.

Michigan State could lose LJ Scott if he continues to progress at the rate he has and with a big 2017 season. That would leave Bridges as the only running back on the roster for 2018. Adding a guy like Richardson would work wonders for the future.
According to Luke Srodulski of Land of 10, the Spartans have been in contact with the four-star back and they’re likely to get a visit from him.
Richardson told Land of 10 he has been in contact with the Spartans, and when asked whether he’d take an official visit, he said he “most likely” would. He said it would likely take place over the weekends of Jan. 13-15 or Jan. 27-28.
Richardson just decommitted from Clemson late last week and the Spartans happened to be in his list of top eight schools before he committed in the first place. Details of the decommitment are unknown, but he’s still considering the Tigers.
The Memphis, Tenn., native is ranked the No. 75 overall prospect and sixth-best running back in the class, according to 247Sports.
