Michigan State unveils new gridiron looks with more nods to Spartan legacy
Mark Dantonio's Michigan State program might be considered conservative in general, but the head coach has never been afraid to shake things up, be that calling out his in-state rivals for a lack of respect, pulling out timely trick plays or even altering the Spartans' classic, simple uniform design.
In conjunction with Nike, the school released a variety of new looks Michigan State can take the field in this fall, including an optional bronze helmet and jersey with bronze trim.
On top of that there is a Greek phrase ("molon labe") embroidered on each jersey that the school says means "come and get them."
