EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook has left Saturday's game against Maryland after appearing to injure his right shoulder in the first half.
Cook was knocked down as he threw a pass during the first quarter and looked to be in pain when he went to the sideline. He was able to return to the game shortly after that, and played the rest of the first half. When the third quarter began, Cook was on the sideline wearing a headset and backup Tyler O'Connor was in at quarterback.
Cook was only 6 of 20 for 77 yards with an interception in the first half, and now the senior star's health is in question for next weekend's showdown at Ohio State.
