Mike Gundy named 2015 Region 4 Coach of the Year

Oklahoma State had a disappointing end to the 2015 season, but the year was still a huge success on the field. Few expected the Cowboys to be in the hunt for the College Football Playoff the last week of the regular season, yet that's exactly what happened.

The Pokes have their share of stars, but perhaps none are bigger than head coach Mike Gundy. For his efforts this season, he earned the Region 4 Coach of the Year Award, which is given to the top coach in the Big 12 or Conference USA.

Oklahoma State will take on Ole Miss Jan. 1 in the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.
