Mike Vick: Lamar Jackson better than I was
Mike Vick thinks Louisville Cardinals quarterback Lamar Jackson is significantly better than he ever was at Virginia Tech.
Lamar Jackson had another banner day, this time on the biggest of stages as his No. 10 Louisville Cardinals beat second-ranked Florida State. Jackson, Louisville quarterback, completed 13 of 20 passes for 216 yards and a touchdown, but also rushed for 146 yards and four touchdowns en route to a 63-20 win.
Former Virginia Tech stand out quarterback Mike Vick was watching the game, and had some praise for Jackson, claiming that the Heisman hopeful is better than he ever was in college.
Lamar Jackson 5x better than what I was at V-Tech….Enough said!! #future

That is pretty high praise given how dynamic Vick was in college, and in his early NFL years with the Atlanta Falcons.
After the Cardinals got done issuing Florida State a stern beat down, Jackson was asked about the Tweet and was humbled by the praise.
“That means a lot. He was my favorite player,” Jackson said, according to Nicole Auerbach.
And what might be the craziest thing about this whole situation is that Jackson gave his performance a grade of D. He criticized himself for the interception and throwing seven incompletions.
Jackson also said the interception will be the first thing his mom will bring up to him.
