Miles is complementary of QB Prescott
If LSU is to beat Mississippi State, it'll have to slow down stud quarterback Dak Prescott.
A year ago in Baton Rouge, the Louisiana native engineered a victory on the road in hostile territory. He finished 15-of-24 for 268 yards and two touchdowns. Prescott also rushed for 105 yards and a score. It marked the first time since 1991 in which a Mississippi State team defeated LSU on the road.
Unsurprisingly, Miles has been very effusive in his praise of Prescott leading up to Saturday's contest. He spoke about Prescott at a Tuesday press conference.

"He's a big strong guy, and he really has nice command of the offense, does the things that the offense asks him to do. He really, as big as he is, he gets in the right hole and makes a nice cut."
Prescott's considerable bulks makes him a bear to tackle. A vast majority of his yards rushing comes after contract. Gang-tackling Prescott seems like a wise thing to do.
"[Prescott] is a guy that that makes plays and gets up in the seam, and he doesn't go down unless you tackle him," said Miles. "I think a key piece to what we're trying to do this week is prepare tackling. If we do that, I think it will make a difference."

Miles also had this final comment about Prescott, and how he thinks the MSU signal-caller stacks up nationally (per NOLA.com).
"He's as good a college quarterback as there is. Their offense has averaged 478 yards per game for the last 21 games with Dak Prescott as the starter."
