Mississippi State Bulldogs in the NFL: Week 7 Report

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

A wild, wild week by the Mississippi State Bulldogs in Week 7 of the NFL season. Of course, they always needed the help of their teammates, but they got the job done.

When it comes to players being ready for the NFL, no one prepares players better than Mississippi State. All you have to do is find where they are, then follow their moves. Whether it’s behind center, or punching behind the line of scrimmage, the Bulldogs are everywhere.

Let’s take for instance two defensive line studs in Preston Smith and Fletcher Cox. These two have been wrecking havoc throughout the NFL offensive lines with their pass rush. They are being paid the way a dominant defensive lineman should be paid, a lot.

Then on the offensive side of the ball, we have the big nasties, and the field general. Gabe Jackson has been a solid player on the Oakland Raiders offensive line. Meanwhile, Dak Prescott may have won the quarterback job for a long time in Dallas. The Cowboys fans are getting restless, but the offense is definitely in good hands with Dak.
