Mississippi State Football Forecast: Finally Homecoming

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

It is finally time for the homecoming game for Mississippi State football. This comes after a disappointing game in Lexington, KY. Will the weather be nice?

Well it certainly won’t be as cold as it was in Lexington for the Mississippi State football team. This is mainly due to the fact that we don’t have a cold front this week. Add in the kick time of 11:00 AM, and you may have one of the hottest games of the season.

The Mississippi State marketing department has tabbed this game as a “stripe-out” game. Halftime will be slightly longer, also, due to the homecoming festivities. With this in mind, I wonder how many are ACTUALLY going to take part in the stripe-out. Of course, that’s all assuming that we will have enough people to support the stripe-out.

If you are going to the game, however, I would recommend short sleeves and jeans. It’s gonna be a hot one in Starkville on Saturday. Dry conditions will continue, as the drought over the Southeast remains prevalent.
