He's the third high school athlete to decommit from Mizzou since Odom assumed the role as head coach. It's to be expected, considering a new staff is in place. The surprising decision to not bring famed defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski back also could have something to do with Martin's move to look at other schools.
Hailing from Valley High School in Alabama, Martin initially opted for Mizzou over offers from Cincinnati, South Carolina, Louisville, and Kentucky.
As Martin mentioned in his Twitter post, the changes in the coaching staff has caused him to pause a bit on his final decision. He did mention that Missouri is still his top school at this point.
According to his Hudl account, Martin lists himself as being 6'3", 265 pounds -- whilst running a 4.87 in the 40-yard dash.
