Mizzou raids multiple programs, gets three commitments
Until the recruit signs on the dotted line, anything is fair game.
It's what makes a verbal commitment somewhat void -- considering the prospect can change his/her mind at any point. Missouri took advantage of this premise over the course of the past few days -- landing commitments from three prospects originally committed elsewhere.

Defensive tackle Markell Utsey flipped his pledge from Arizona to Missouri. A native of Little Rock, Ark., the distance may have played a role in his decision.

Additionally, two Boise State commitments -- quarterback Micah Wilson and running back Damarea Crockett -- both decided to come to Columbia.
Of the three, Crockett is the headliner. A Rivals.com 4-star back from Arkansas, Crockett possesses some serious speed out of the backfield. Able to also catch the ball effectively from the running back spot, he could ultimately be the home-run threat Missouri's been desperately seeking from within its offense.
Right now, Missouri has 15 public commitments. This number figures to increase as signing day approaches on Feb. 3.
