PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP) — Santo Dunn rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns and Ben Goins had a sack and fumble recovery with 1:19 left to play to lead Division II-member Morehouse College to a 34-30 upset win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff in a season opener on Saturday.

The Maroon Tigers, who never trailed, nearly surrendered their lead after Jordy Andrade's 13-yard punt gave Arkansas-Pine Bluff the ball at midfield with 1:24 left to play. Shannon Patrick hit Josh Wilkes for a 27-yard gain, giving the Golden Lions a first-and-goal at the 6-yard line. But Goins forced a fumble when he sacked Patrick and recovered the ball to preserve the upset.

The two teams combined for 1,146 yards of offense.

Dunn had TD runs of 77 and 31 yards as Morehouse amassed 305 yards on the ground. Frank Bailey Jr. added 106 yards rushing on 18 carries.
