Navy brings quarterback out of stands, into game against Fordham
When you sign up to attend a service academy, you know you have to be ready for anything in life.
That was never more evident than Saturday in Annapolis, when Navy played host to Fordham, in a battle of the Rams.
Navy quarterback Tago Smith was injured. The call went out to freshman Malcolm Perry, who began the game as part of the brigade and was in the stands in his dress whites. Perry rushed for 30 yards on seven carries in the Midshipmen's 52-16 romp.

Ok, NOW you can go crazy. Malcolm Perry is entering the game #NavyFootball
And Navy athletics added a bit of bite from its social media account.
As the Navy slogan once read, "It's not just a job. It's an adventure."
