Nebraska adds Arkansas St. to 2017 schedule

We haven't played a game in 2015 let alone 2016, but there is some news about the Nebraska Cornhuskers 2017 schedule.
They have rounded out their 2017 out of conference slate with a home game against the Arkansas State Red Wolves. This isn't the first time these teams have gotten together on the field. The last two games were also in Lincoln, in 2009 and 2012. Nebraska came out victorious in both games.
The out of conference schedule in 2017 will be an interesting one for Nebraska. The Huskers will play Oregon on Sept. 9 in Eugene and face Northern Illinois at home on Sept. 16. That season the Big Ten moves to a nine game conference schedule.
