Nebraska Football Offers Top 2019 Texas Runningback
The Nebraska football team is the latest to offer a running back from the state of Texas who will likely be among the most sought after runners in the 2019 class.
Noah Cain let it be known on Twitter that he had garnered an offer from the Nebraska football staff on his Twitter account. Now the Huskers will have their work cut out for them but at least will have a few years to do that work.
While it’s still too early to be giving Cain stars, 247 Sports currently has him ranked as the top running back in the state of Texas for 2019. That is likely why schools like LSU and Oklahoma have beaten the Nebraska football team to the punch.
The teams that have offered Cain is an impressive list. While the Nebraska football team is the latest school, LSU handed the back an offer back on October 10. Five days before that Cain was offered a chance to play for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Oklahoma, UCLA, Texas A&M and Oklahoma have also all offered him a chance to play for their schools.

Since Mike Riley has taken over the helm, the recruiting process has been quite different than it was under Bo Pelini. While Pelini seemed to take the tact of going after players that were under the radar, Riley has decided his Nebraska football team can compete against anyone in the recruiting wars.
So far, that’s meant some high-profile losses, but it’s also meant some pretty high profile wins. It might be a little while before we see just who the winner and losers are for the services of Noah Cain but the Nebraska football team is at least in play.
