Nebraska QB Tommy Armstrong named B1G Player of the Week
Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong has had an impressive season so far.
He has adapted to Mike Riley's pro-style offense far better than most expected and is starting to be recognized for it. He was named the Co-Offensive Player of the Week for week four after his performance against Southern Miss.
Armstrong set a career high with 431 yards of total offense including three total touchdowns. This is the first time he has earn the Player of the Week honor.
As Nebraska heads into Big Ten play, they will need their signal caller to keep playing at a high level while their defense figures things out.
