Notre Dame football to be subject of all-access series

Notre Dame football on a "Hard Knocks"-type show? That will be a reality this fall.

Showtime Sports announced Tuesday it will air a weekly all-access series titled, "A Season with Notre Dame Football."

Set to debut Sept. 8 on Showtime, the show will consist of 30-minute episodes and run throughout the season.

On top of action on the field, cameras will take viewers into the locker room and follow players through their everyday lives.

Production has already begun on the show.
