Notre Dame unveils bizarre 2016 Shamrock Series uniforms
Notre Dame will play its Shamrock Series game this season against Army on November 12 at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The Irish won't be wearing their traditional uniforms, though.
They unveiled their new threads for the game on Thursday night, and they're ... interesting. The uniforms don't exactly feature Notre Dame's traditional blue or green colors, rather an olive green and dark gold.

Perhaps the Irish and Under Armour were going for something more along the lines of military-type colors, but they're nowhere near as snazzy as last year's uniforms.
The helmet color is particularly interesting, seeing as it doesn't really match the other gold accents on the jersey.
