Odom making impact on recruiting trails, gets two commitments
Although he hasn't been on the job for very long, Missouri head coach Barry Odom has already made an impact when it comes to Mizzou's 2016 recruiting class.
The Tigers recently garnered the pledges from two prospects -- East St. Louis High School product OL Tre'vour Simms and DE/OLB Marvin Terry of South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas.
A massive individual at 6'3", 317 pounds, Simms was initially committed to Illinois. He's a versatile prospect -- having the ability to play both at guard and at tackle.
Terry was a hotly-pursued prospect with offers from all across the country -- including Miami, Arkansas, UCLA, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, and Oregon. His ability to rush the passer off the edge is reminiscent of many talented Mizzou rushers from the past.
It's a great start to Odom's tenure as head coach. As it currently stands, Missouri has 17 public commitments.
