Ohio State linebacker pokes Michigan after Nike announcement

While Michigan fans rejoiced at the news the Wolverines will once again wear Nike apparel beginning in 2016, at least one Ohio State player felt like poking a hole in their balloon.

It's probably safe to say sophomore Darron Lee does not believe it's all about the shoes.

And, naturally, he got the kind of response that left him feeling like some clarification was necessary.

As for the last part, the linebacker will get his shot at the Wolverines on November 28 in Ann Arbor, Mich. He's already got bragging rights, though, thanks to Buckeye victories in each of the past two seasons.

After red-shirting in 2013, he left his mark on the rivalry last year when he returned a fumble for a touchdown that put the game out of reach in the fourth quarter of an eventual 42-28 Buckeyes victory.
