Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly will undergo season-ending surgery to repair a torn ACL and lateral meniscus in his knee, the school announced on Sunday.

Kelly left the Rebels’ 37–27 win on Saturday over Georgia Southern after sustaining the injury and had an MRI on Sunday, which revealed the torn ligaments. The 22-year-old is the nephew of Hall of Fame QB Jim Kelly and an NFL draft prospect.

Before leaving Saturday‘s game, Kelly completed 16 of 23 passes for 226 yards and a touchdown. He finishes the year with a 62.5% completion percentage, throwing for 2,758 yards and 19 touchdowns with eight interceptions in nine games. He added 332 yards and five touchdowns on the ground.
