One factor stands out when it comes to recruitment of Nigel Warrior
Nigel Warrior is one of the hottest prospects in the class of 2016.
Pursued by all of the heavy-hitters within the SEC, the Suwanee, Ga. native has his pick of virtually any school within the region.
The 247sports 4-star has visited LSU and Ohio State officially -- with trips to Alabama (Jan. 22) and Tennessee (Jan. 29) upcoming. The son of former Tennessee star and All-Pro Dale Carter, it's thought Warrior could be leaning towards following in his father's footsteps.
However according to Warrior's mother (via a report from 247sports), another SEC program is also prioritizing her son -- with an attractive recruiting pitch.
"The one thing that kind of stands out with Auburn is, there's a great need for him there," said Tangie Warrior.
With one visit open, it appears as if Warrior may opt to see Auburn in person over Georgia.
In this recruitment, Warrior's mother has made it clear her son wants to go to a program where he can play early.
"That's important to him -- being able to play."
Tennessee may also have a leg-up in this aspect. Both of its starting safeties (Brian Randolph, LaDarrell McNeil) have graduated.
The remaining next two weeks surrounding the recruitment of Warrior figures to be a complete whirlwind.
