Oregon, BYU to play at Autzen Stadium in 2022

Oregon and BYU have announced that they will play a game at Autzen Stadium in Eugene in 2022.

The game is scheduled for Sept. 10, 2022 and their is no return game scheduled at this time. 

The Ducks and Cougars have met six times previously, with each team owning three victories. The last time Oregon and BYU met on the football field was the 2006 Las Vegas Bowl. BYU won that game 38-8. That was the last game Oregon played without Chip Kelly's "blur" offense. 

“It’s a great opportunity to play an outstanding football team from the Pac 12,” said BYU director of athletics Tom Holmoe. “Oregon had an opening in its 2022 schedule and the circumstance was right for BYU. We hope to develop a long-term relationship with Oregon.”
