Oregon players will look just like ducks this week against Colorado
Oregon will pay homage to its mascot with special uniforms on Saturday.
For their game against Colorado in Eugene, the Ducks will wear a new uniform combination that makes them look more like ducks than ever before. The cleats and socks are orange, the jersey is a bright green and the helmets are white, with an orange facemask that resembles a duck’s bill.
Oregon has never worn orange cleats and socks together, according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell.
Other details include Oregon’s duck logo on the tongue of the cleats and on the shoulders. The collar of the jersey has the phrase “Once a Duck, Always a Duck.”
