Oregon's decade of dominance against Washington may be over

Published Oct. 13, 2015 5:29 p.m. ET

Oregon has not lost to Washington since a 42-10 beat down in 2003. Since then, the Ducks have rattled off 11 straight victories against their North West rivals. Moreover, the Ducks are 10-0-1 against the spread in those 11 games.

The Ducks have won each of the past 11 games by 17 points or more. However, based on how the Ducks and Huskies have been playing recently, it looks as though Oregon's streak could be in serious jeopardy.

The Ducks are coming off a 45-38 double overtime loss to Washington State and the Huskies just beat USC 17-12 in Los Angeles. The Ducks are without their starting QB, Vernon Adams Jr., and have one of the worst defenses in the entire country. Meanwhile, Washington's offense is steadily improving and the defense is one of the best in the Pac-12.
