OSU offensive line dealing with changes

Published Aug. 31, 2015 4:50 p.m. ET

New offensive line coach Greg Adkins has already earned a lot of respect at Oklahoma State.

“From the first day he came in, we heard he was coming from the Buffalo Bills,” said center Brad Lundblade to The Oklahoman “Any time you get a guy that's been in the NFL and had a lot of success in the college level, we were all excited to get to work with him and learn from him. It was awesome.”

The offensive line coaching spot has been fluctuating quite a bit. Bob Connelly replaced Joe Wickline in 2014. Wickline had been at OSU since 2005. Connelly left for Southern Cal. Eric Wolford came in and then left for the 49ers of the NFL.

That led to Lundblade coming to Stillwater.

“He knows so much,” Cowboys tackle Zach Crabtree said to The Oklahoman. “There is so much knowledge to soak in. I don't think we have scraped the surface of what it is we can get out of him. Very knowledgeable, been in several situations coaching in the NFL and college.”
