OSU's defensive line improving with a little help from yoga

Published Apr. 24, 2015 5:35 a.m. ET

The last thing you'd imagine a 300-pound lineman to be carrying after football practice is a yoga mat, but yoga has become a key part in the improvement of Oklahoma State's defensive line.

“It just relaxes you,” defensive tackle Vincent Taylor told The Tulsa World.

Taylor isn't the only one who has been attending yoga classes. Rising star defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah has also been taking classes on OSU's campus, and credits yoga as having helped him improve his flexibility.

“When I went for the first time and I went back to lifting with Coach (Rob) Glass, as I was doing squats I felt the difference,” he said.
