Pair of defensive backs commit to Maryland

Published Jun. 26, 2015 12:50 p.m. ET

On Wednesday Maryland got a verbal commitment from Tyrone Hill, a three-star defensive back New Jersey high school power Don Bosco Prep, and Silas Kelly, an unrated safety prospect from South Caroll High School in Maryland.

Hill is the No. 2-ranked cornerback in his home state and the 14th player to commit to Maryland for the class of 2016.

Six players have committed since the Terrapins got a commit from four-star quarterback Dwayne Haskins Jr. in the middle of May.
