Peppers status still uncertain for Michigan's bowl game

Will Michigan have Jabrill Peppers for the Citrus Bowl against Florida?

That question came up earlier this month after the Michigan student newspaper reported the Big Ten Freshman of the Year had been seen on campus wearing a cast on one hand.

Per MLive.com, coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed to reporters Tuesday the safety/cornerback/tailback/receiver/return man may not be in the lineup against the Gators on Jan. 1.

The Wolverines would feel Peppers' absence on offense, defense and special teams.

He had 45 tackles while seeing time at safety, nickel and cornerback on defense, carried the ball 18 times on offense, caught eight passes, took a few direct snaps and was the team's top punt return man.

Harbaugh still said "we'll see' when asked if redshirt freshman defensive back Jabrill Peppers will play in Michigan's bowl game against Florida.
Harbaugh said again that Peppers is "working through something." Asked if he's been practicing with the team, Harbaugh said "he's been out there."
